PERMANENT MAKEUP FAQ’S
WHAT TO EXPECT ON PROCEDURE DAY?
Once you have arrived for your treatment we will discuss your brows and what you would like to achieve from the treatment.
Once this is agreed we can then start your brow mapping and styling, this is important as we want you to be completely happy with your shape and style and for it to suit your facial features.
Once this is finished we can choose your pigment colour and start your brow tattoo. When we have finished we then run through your aftercare and rebook your top-up in 4-6 weeks time.
AM I A SUITIBLE CANDIDATE FOR PMU?
There are certain medical conditions that are unsuitable for permanent make-up, this will all be discussed on your consultation and medical forms. If you do have any worries or doubts please don’t hesitate to call or email us prior to booking.
HOW LONG DOES THE APPOINTMENT TAKE?
Appointments are for 2 hours
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The treatment costs £400. When you are ready to book we ask for a deposit of £100 then the rest on the day.
HOW DO I KNOW IF THE SHAPE WILL SUIT ME?
All brow mapping and styling is discussed and changed if necessary prior to the tattoo itself. We wont go any further in your appointment till this part is completely perfect and your happy with the design.
Everything is bespoke to you and your features.
WHAT IS THE HEALING TIME?
It takes 10 days for visible healing and 4-6 weeks for full healing.
WILL MY BROWS SCAB?
Brows do tend to scab, yes but its very minimal and short lived.
If you follow all the aftercare correctly this process is not very long.
HOW OFTEN WILL I NEED A COLOURBOOST?
We recommend every 12-18months for a colour boost.
CAN I WEAR MAKE UP AFTER PMU?
Yes you can wear make up around the area treated but not on the brows till the visible scabbing has finished and the brows are completely healed over.

How do I know which lashes to book?
This would all depend on what kind of look you are hoping to achieve.
If you are unsure we would recommend speaking to one of our lash techs to decide if Classic, Russians or Hybrids are best suited for you.
What is the difference between classic lashes and Russian lashes?
This would all depend on what kind of look you are hoping to achieve.
Classics are one individual lash extensions added onto one natural lash. Russians are a handmade fan of extensions added onto one natural lash.
How long do lash extensions take?
A full set of lashes takes between 2-3 hours depending on your chosen lash look. Infills vary from 40 minutes to 1.30hrs.
How long do lash extensions last and infills?
All lash extensions require regular infills to maintain the finished and fresh look, we recommended 2-3 weeks for infills.
How long does a lash lift last?
A lash lift can last anywhere between 4-8 weeks depending on your natural lash growth.
How much do lash extensions or lash lift’s cost?
Our lash extensions vary from £50 to £75 for a full set and £25 – £55 for infills. A lash lift costs £48.
What happens if I have a reaction or need them taken off?
If you have a reaction to your extensions we would ask you to call the salon and we will get them soaked off for you as soon as possible.
NAILS FAQ’s
What can I expect from a gel polish manicure?
A gel manicure appointment includes your nails being cut, filed and shaped and the cuticles trimmed.
Then we add the base coat, colour polish and top coat, and this is all cured under a UV lamp resulting in a strong, flexible glossy finish that’s chip-free and long-lasting.
How long does gel polish last?
With proper application and curing, a gel manicure typically last 2-3 weeks. Sometimes even longer with good care.
How long do the Gel-X extensions last?
Gel-X nails generally last between 2-4 weeks with good home care.
What happens if I get a chip?
We offer free nails repairs if damaged or chipped within the first week of your nail appointment.
How often should I have a gel manicure appointment?
Most people tend to go 2-3 weeks between gel manicure appointments.
Can you have gel polish on toes?
Yes! Gel polish on toes is very popular because of their longevity.
What gel polish brands do you use?
We use The Gel Bottle with over 400 colours in the salon to choose from.
What is included in a pedicure?
Our pedicures include a foot soak, exfoliation and removal of dead skin, all cuticle work, nails clipping and shaping, foot and lower leg massage, moisturiser and nail polishing.
EYEBROWS FAQ
What is a brow stain treatment?
This is a treatment that smoothly stains the skin and the hairs giving a fuller more defined brows.
How long does it last?
This varies amongst clients, depending on hair type, skin care and aftercare of brows. On average we would say between 2-3 weeks.
What is a brow lamination?
Brow lamination is process that restructures your eyebrow hairs, ensuring they all go in the same direction giving that brushed up full look.
How long does it last?
Brow lamination can last up to 8 weeks with good aftercare.
How do I know what treatment I should have on my brows?
This will depend on what you’re trying to achieve with your brows. We offer a variety of brow services, from tints and shapes, and stains, to full permanent brows.
Can I choose the colour of the brow stain?
Between yourself and your beautician, you can choose the most suitable brow stain for you.
What is the after care for brow stain or brow lamination?
Avoid getting your brows wet for 24 hours after either of these treatments. Avoid being in the sun for lengthy periods of time to sustain the pigment in the tint/stain.
Continue to cleanse after 48 hours and apply a brow serum to maintain the health of your hairs.
How long do the treatments take?
Both treatments take between 45-50 minutes.
